Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman has backed one of the club's summer signings.
There has been a lot of talk about Portuguese youngster Youssef Chermiti this season.
He has yet to score his first league goal for the club, but nearly did so against Manchester United in a 3-0 loss on Sunday.
Speaking on BBC 5 Live, Osman said of Chermiti's impact in the game: We've seen flashes of Youssef Chermiti since he's been at Everton.
He's had a couple of substitute appearances, he's had moments here and there.
That was nearly his best moment in a blue shirt [coming on in the second half and nearly scoring]."
